3. two of his/her important powers.

1. The emergency has the following effects on state administration:
   1. The State administration reports directly to the President (Union Government). The Governor of the concerned State follows Union Government directives as they are provided.
   2. The President can dissolve the Vidhan Sabha of the State and remove the Council of Ministers. Place the Assembly and Council of Ministers in suspended animation.
      The Union Parliament has the authority to adopt laws on any subject on the State List for a specific state. Parliament reviews and approves the state's annual budget.
   3. When the Lok Sabha is not in session, the President can sanction expenditures from the State's Consolidated Fund.
   4. The President can suspend any section of the Constitution, with the exception of High Courts.
2. To be elected as the Vice-President, a person must possess the following qualifications:
   1. To be elected as Vice-President, candidates must be Indian citizens.
   2. The individual must be at least 30 years old.
   3. He or she must be qualified for election.
   4. He/she should not hold any profit-making positions inside the Government of India or any state government.
3. The Vice President often has minimal involvement in the President's office. However, he has the following responsibilities to perform:
   1. Ex-officio chairman of Rajya Sabha. The Vice President serves as the Rajya Sabha's ex-officio Chairman. The Chairman oversees debates, proceedings, and speech orders. He determines the admissibility of resolutions or enquiries. In a serious disturbance, the Speaker can postpone or adjourn Housework. Finally, he gives orders to committee chairs regarding their jobs.
   2. Acting as President of India. The Vice-President serves as President in three instances. The President died. Second, remove the President. Thirdly, the President may be unable to perform his duties due to illness or other reasons. The Vice-President can serve as President for up to 6 months before the new President is elected.
