2. Neolithic Age is called the ‘New Age’ because of the new grinding and polishing techniques used for the tools.
3. Surplus food production was the main factor for the development of the early civilizations.
4. Permanent residences were built and large villages emerged as a result. Hence the development of this period is called the Neolithic Revolution.
