उत्तर

The shifting magnetic flux through the copper disc causes eddy current in the disc as it enters and exits the magnetic field. The opposing magnetic force dampens the motion in both circumstances, according to Fleming's right-hand rule. The mechanical energy is depleted after a few swings, and the motion comes to a halt. The disc is warmed by joule heating caused by the eddy current. As a result, the pendulum's mechanical energy is converted into thermal energy.
