M11 = `|(1, 3),(-4, 2)|` = 2 + 12 = 14
∴ C11 = (– 1)1+1 M11 = 1(14) = 14
M12 = `|(-2, 3),(0, 2)|` = – 4 – 0 = – 4
∴ C12 = (– 1)1+2 M12 = (– 1)(– 4) = 4
M13 = `|(-2, 1),(0, -4)|` = 8 – 0 = 8
∴ C13 = (– 1)1+3 M13 = 1(8) = 8
M21 = `|(0, 4),(-4, 2)|` = 0 + 16 =16
∴ C21 = (–1)2+1 M21 = (–1)(16) = – 16
