प्रश्न
Answer the following question in 25-30 words.
Explain the philosophy of Satyagraha.
उत्तर
Satyagraha means truth-holding in Sanskrit. In the early 20th century, Mahatma Gandhi used it to fight evil peacefully. Satyagraha was crucial to the Indian battle against the British and was imitated by many other groups. Satyagrahis practice nonviolence, peace, and self-reflection. They never accept wrong and cooperate with them truthfully. They refuse to use violence that could harm the other party. They want harmony, not victory over the opponent. This comes from the Gujarati Jains' ahimsa concept.
