प्रश्न
Balance the following equation:
\[\ce{Fe2O3 + H2->Fe + H2O}\]
उत्तर
\[\ce{Fe2O3 + H2->Fe + H2O}\]
There are 2 atoms of Fe on left.
\[\ce{Fe2O3 + H2->2Fe + H2O}\]
Now equate O atoms and use 3H2O on right.
\[\ce{Fe2O3 + H2->2Fe + 3H2O}\]
But H atoms on right are 6 make 3H2 on left.
∴ \[\ce{Fe2O3 + 3H2->2Fe + 3H2O}\]
It is balanced.
