Methods to increase land productivity:

- The productivity of land is largely determined by its natural qualities. In agriculture, some properties of the soil would be more suitable for the cultivation of wheat than for the cultivation of rice. Farmers need to identify the soil suitable for crop cultivation. Thus, cultivation on suitable soil also increases land productivity.
