थोडक्यात उत्तर

उत्तर

(i)   ‘A stitch in time saves nine’ means that timely action in any matter saves him from a lot of troubles, loss, and waste. A person should do his duties in the proper time. A person may suffer if he is lazy and leaves his work for tomorrow.’

This phrase means that it is better to act sooner rather than later. Taking action to deal with a potential problem as soon as possible prevents larger problems from cropping up later.

Expansion: When a small hole appears in a piece of cloth, it can be easily repaired with a single stitch. On the other hand, if it is not sewed in time, it will widen more and more, and many stitches will be required to mend the cloth.
A neglect of this simple duty, at the start, will turn the cloth into useless scrap. Similarly, all difficulties of this kind can easily be prevented by taking timely action to remove them.

Man has many duties to perform and his life on earth is short. In the brief span of his life, he has not a minute to waste. He must, therefore, take time by the forelock. Once it has passed, it can never be recalled. Whatever a man has to do, he must do it immediately.

(ii)  Infanticide (or infant homicide) is the intentional killing of infants. Neonaticide, killing within 24 hours of a child's birth, is most commonly done by the mother whereas infanticide of a child more than one day old is slightly more likely to be committed by the father.

In many past societies, certain forms of infanticide were considered permissible. In some countries, female infanticide is more common than the killing of male offspring, due to sex-selective infanticide

Female infanticide is leading to an imbalance of sex ratio. There are more males than females. This is going to give females more power and the dowry system will end. There are worse things to female infanticide too, there will be very fewer girls to marry and make a family.

India has the most female infanticide cases as compared to other countries and it has to stop or else people will face lots of complicatedness later on. Female infanticide is mostly done by low caste people. They think that the girl won’t be able to take the place of a male. They think that females won’t be able to work and study. People of India think that females can only sit home and look after the kids and provide a meal to the whole family. People think that girls won’t be able to work at farms.

Women had reached till moon but still, people think that they are useless. There is this permanent image of females in people’s minds that girls can’t take place of a male. Lower class people also think that having a girl is pointless because she won’t stay with them for the whole life because she has to leave them after getting married. The girl won’t be able to keep the name of her family. She has to change her last name after getting married. In India, females are born to kill. They are not given a chance to study.

They are sent to school only for a few years and then they are told to sit home. They are forced to marry at a very young age and have kids and young age. Then all they do is look after kids and put the meal on the table every night.

Female infanticide will become a huge issue later in our life. First of all, female infanticide is so common in India. The lower caste people think that the girl can’t take the position of a guy. They also dominate the girls.
Secondly, Due to the poor dowry system prevailing they think that it is better than to have a boy rather than a girl.

Nonetheless, in addition to the dowry system, the reasons for this increasing trend have also been attributed to the patriarchal society, poverty and the availability of sex-selective abortion.

This evil system is prevailing in many of our rural regions. this act is causing an imbalance in the sex ratios. People must now be awakening must realize that girls are equally as important as boys.

She is the only one which holds the roots of their house and must be saved to take this world into future steps.

(iii)  Kedarnath is one of the most sacred Char Dhams for the followers of Hinduism, the others being Badrinath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri. As per religious Hindu scriptures, Pandavas from the Mahabharata did the Char Dham yatra in order to wash away the sins that were committed by them during the epic war of Kurukshetra. So Kedarnath holds such religious significance in India for Hindus.

Reaching Kedarnath Temple is not a difficult task, however, the trek that leads to the main temple can be a little tiring and one testing task. But if you are an adventure junkie, you are just going to love it. Standing at an altitude of 3584 m above sea level, Kedarnath, a pristine town in Uttarkhand is guarded by the mighty peaks of the great Himalayas. Devotees flock to Kedarnath to pay a visit to an ancient shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, who is considered the destroyer and the purifier. Apart from strong religious significance, Kedarnath in the Garhwal region features unmatched natural beauty. The snow-capped mountains and alpine forests create a whole new world altogether.

When it comes to how to reach Kedarnath, you must know that Gaurikund is the last motorable road from Kedarnath. From there, it is a trek along the Himalayas. Those traveling by airplanes will have to take a flight to Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun and from outside the airport cab and taxis can be hired. The town is also well connected to Dehradun and Haridwar by bus. Train travelers will have to get down at Rishikesh Railway Station and take a bus to reach Kedarnath.
