When Amit woke up in the morning and looked at his face in the mirror, he did not recognise the face looking back at him. 'This is not me he cried aloud. This is not me, this is not me, I don't know what's going on. I had a dream I was a different person, a different person, who's this person? I'm not this old and ugly, this is not me, this is a stranger, I feel like a stranger in my own bedroom, he cried aloud. Amit had been suffering from amnesia. He had no idea who he was, where he came from, or what had happened to him in the past. He could not remember anything about his past.
For the past several months, he had been plagued by nightmares and confused about his identity and past. He had never seen himself in the mirror before, there was not a trace of his face in the reflection. He could not imagine anything about his future. How am I supposed to get a job? How will I keep this up?' he asked himself as he got up and went to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee. He was not sure what he would do with his life as he did some research. He opened his laptop and did a search on the internet. At first he was shocked to see a picture of his grandfather with his name and address on it, then he decided not to be shocked, but only because he knew it was his grandfather. The search returned a number of results. He found a number of sites that dealt with amnesia. "My name is Amit. I have a disease amnesia. I have no idea about my past. I think I am a man of 30." "Oh, amnesia!" he mused. Then Amit logged off and went back to bed.
