Non-metallic minerals:
Non-metallic minerals can be either biological or inorganic in origin. Non-metallic minerals, such as coal and petroleum, are formed from buried plant and animal life and are considered organic. Inorganic non-metallic minerals include mica, limestone, and graphite.
