Working:
A multiplexer is a combinational circuit with two input lines and one output line. It has numerous inputs and one output line. The binary data is entered into the input line and routed to the output.
A 4-to-1 MUX consists of four input lines, two select lines, and an output line. The select lines choose one of the four input lines to connect to the outgoing line.
