Explanation:

Let students studying Arts, Law and Commerce are 5, 6 and 7 respectively.

The new number of students will be 1.2 x 5 = 6, 1.3  x 6 = 7.8, 1.4 x 7 = 9.8 resp.

So the ratio is 60: 78: 98 i.e. 30: 39: 49.
