Explain 3D Printing Technology.

(i) 3D printing is the process of making three-dimensional solid objects from a digital file.

(ii) 3D printing enables you to produce complex shapes using less material than traditional manufacturing methods.

(iii) The most popular form of printing technology which you will come across today is 3D printing i.e. Three Dimension printing.

(iv) The creation of a 3D printed object is achieved using additive processes.

(v) In an additive process an object is created by laying down successive layers of material until the object is created.

(vi) Each of these layers can be seen as a thinly sliced horizontal cross-section of the eventual object.

(vii) 30 printing encloses many forms of technologies and materials as 30 printing is being used in almost all industries.

(viii) A few examples are dental products, eyewear, architectural scale models, prosthetics, reconstructing bones and body parts in forensic pathology, etc.
