The movement of people, wealth, ideas, and commodities throughout the world is what is meant by the term 'globalization.' This idea has several facets. It has cultural, political, and economic expressions, all of which need to be sufficiently differentiated.

The reasons people don't want to accept globalization:

1. Leftist groups say that globalization today is global capitalism, which makes the gap between rich and poor even bigger.
2. The weakening of the state makes it less able to protect the interests of its less fortunate people.
3. Right-wing groups express concerns about the effects on politics, the economy, and culture.
4. Cultural globalization is considered to be at risk of erasing long-held beliefs and traditional cultures.
5. Some see globalization as a new form of imperialism. There is opposition to corporate globalization in the World Social Forum.
