4. Inflexibility: Fixed train schedules, permanent track, specified stations and halts and other factors contribute to inflexibility in railway transport.
5. Incomplete service: The railway service is only accessible between the nearest stations. Railways cannot give door-to-door service. As a result, railway stations must be connected by roads.
