Explain the role of the 'first trophic level' in an ecosystem.
उत्तर
The first trophic level is also known as the producer. At this level, the organisms are autotrophic which means they prepare their own food with the help of sunlight which is the only source of energy for earth. So, producers have the job to transform light energy into chemical energy so that it can be useful to other trophic levels and for the sustenance of the ecosystem.
