प्रश्न
Find the unknowns x, y and z.
Name of the item | Marked Price | Selling Price | Discount |
Digital clock | ₹ 750 | ₹ 615 | z |
उत्तर
Digital clock marked price (M.P) = ₹ 750,
Selling price (S.P) = ₹ 615, Discount = z
S.P = `"M.P" xx (((100 - "d"%))/100)`
∴ 615 = `750 xx ((100 - z))/100`
∴ (100 − z) = `(615 xx 100)/750`
100 – z = 82
∴ z = 100 – 82, Discount = 18%
