उत्तर

Let the marked price be ₹ x.

x + 12% of x = 15680

x + 12x100 = 15680

100x+12x100 = 15680

112x100 = 15680

x = 15680112×100

x = ₹ 14000

Initial marked price = ₹ 14000

∴ Marked price of refrigerator excluding

GST = ₹ 14000

Let the reduced price = ₹ x

Then reduced price + GST = Marked Price

∴ x + 12% of x = ₹ 14000

112x100

⇒ ₹ 14000

⇒ x = ₹(14000×100112)

= ₹ 12500

∴ Required reduction is given by the trader

= ₹ (14000 - 12500)

= ₹ 1500
