Form groups of five.
Look at the chart given above below.

Each person in the group is given only one column to choose from.

From column A, one person chooses any five characters.

From column B, another person can choose any five characteristics or qualities for these characters.

From columns C, D and E, the three remaining children choose the story type, the period and one setting (place) respectively.

After everyone has chosen, you put all the elements together and build a story/ play with it.

It must have a beginning, some events and an end.

You may choose other supporting characters and move from one setting or time period to another, if necessary, but you must use what you choose first.

Title: The Brave Pilot in a Faraway Land

A brave magician, a faithful soldier, an honest king, a clever thief, and a kind robot all lived in a faraway land once upon a time. People loved their wise and fair king who ran the country. The most loyal people to the king were told they had to find the famous Emerald Stone, a magical stone that could grant wishes. The kingdom had been looking for it for a long time, but it was said to be hidden in a dangerous jungle.
The thief joined the task because he was sneaky and thought it would be a good chance to steal the stone for himself, while the robot joined because it was loyal and kind.

The group set out and went through woods and mountains. They ran into a lot of problems on their trip. The thief tried to trick the group more than once, but the brave wizard was always ahead of him and kept them safe with his magic. The soldier's strength helped get rid of hurdles, and the robot's knowledge and mechanical know-how were useful when needed.
As they went deeper into the bush, the magician used protective spells to keep them safe from wild animals and dangerous paths. They finally got to the secret cave, where an old spirit was watching over the Emerald Stone. They were told by the spirit that only good people could take the stone. 

However, the robber tried to steal the stone. He thought he could outwit everyone due to his slyness. The honest King confronted him and demanded, "What's your goal, thief? Do you want fortune or serve our people?"
Realizing the king's sincerity, the robber confessed. The nice and sensitive robot taught the criminal dedication and honesty. A spell by the magician turned the stone's magic into light that cleaned the thief's heart. 

The Emerald Stone was put in the temple, healing the land and aiding the people. The thief changed and became a loyal protector of the kingdom. The robot, soldier, king, and magician came back to the castle as heroes. They celebrated, realizing their journey had turned a sly thief into a loyal ally.
The kingdom developed due to the pilot's bravery and the people's kindness in working together.
