Diabetic patients are advised to take artificial sweeteners instead of natural sweeteners.

Diabetic patients do not produce enough insulin to metabolise the natural sugar. As a result, the blood sugar level increases which affect the liver, kidney and heart. Therefore, diabetic patients are advised to take artificial sweeteners, because they reduce both calorie and carbohydrate intake and keeps the blood sugar level stable.
