How are the parties recognised at National level?

For getting recognition as ‘National Party, a party has to fulfill any one of the following criteria.

1. At least 6% votes in at least four states and members to the Lok Sabha.
2. In the election of Lok Sabha at least 2% of members from at least 3 states are elected to Lok Sabha.
3. Recognition as state party at least four states.
