प्रश्न
If the angles A, B, C of a ΔABC are in A.P. and ∠A = 30°, c = 5, then find the values of ‘a’ and ‘b’.

उत्तर
Since A, B, C are in A.P.
∴ A + C = 2B
Now A + B + C = 180°
∴ 2B + B = 180°
∴ 3B = 180°,
∴ B = 60°
∠A = 30° ...(Given),
∴ C = 90°
Using sine rule
`a/sinA = b/sinB = c/sinC`
∴ `a/((1/2)) = b/((sqrt(3)/2)) = 5/1`
∴ a = `5/2`,
b = `(5sqrt(3))/2`
