If    where Q – P = 3, then find the values of P and Q.

We have, × P   and Q – P = 3
                Q 6

Here, P × P is 6, so the value of P is either 4 or 6.

But If P = 4, Q = 5, which does not satisfy the relation Q – P = 3.

Hence, P = 6 and then Q = 9.
