Our class picnicked by the river on a sunny day. We joked, played games, and had fun. I hurried to the riverbank to catch the ball during a game, but my foot slipped on a damp rock. I fell into the river with a loud splash after losing my footing. forget them!
Panic struck me as chilly water engulfed me. Strong currents made it hard for me to float. My classmates ran to the edge, calling my name in concern. Rahul, our class monitor, threw a rope at me as others looked for a long branch. But the current was too strong to seize the rope.
Suddenly, my good swimmer friend Priya fearlessly leaped into the river and reached out to me. She gripped my arm while I tightened the rope. My classmates dragged us to shore with struggle. After a few harrowing seconds, I landed safely.
Everyone cheered and hugged me. Our teacher gave me a warm towel and helped me sit to regain my breath. Shaken but thankful. I learned the value of friendship and teamwork that day. My brave and wonderful classmates saved me, and I'll never forget them!
