Give the dimension of the cube = 800 × 800 × 720
The slopes of the escalator at the turning points.
In the right angle ∆OAE
OE = 800
EA = 180
Let ∠AOE = θ
The slope of the escalator OE 180
tan θ = `"EA"/"OE"`
= `180/800`
= `9/40`
∴ Slope at each turning points is `9/40`
