We know that 1 m = 100 cm
Now, length of the cloth required to make one shirt = 2 m 75 cm
Length of the cloth required to make 16 such shirts = 2 m 75 cm × 16
= 2.75 m × 16
= 44 m
∴ The length of the cloth required to make 16 shirts will be 44 m.
