x = 48°, alternate interior angles; AD is transversal y = 60°, alternate interior angles, BC is transversal
∠AEB + 48° + y° = 180°, ...(sum of angles of a triangle is 180°)
∠AEB + 48° + 60° = 180°
∠AEB + 108° = 180°
∠AEB + 108° − 108° = 180° − 108°
∠AEB = 72°
∠AEB + z° = 180° ...[Linear pair]
72° + z° = 180°
72° + z° − 72° = 180° − 72°
z° = 108°
x = 48°, y = 60°, z = 108°
