It is dangerous to connect the switch in the neutral wire. Explain your answer.

Even when the switch is turned off, the appliance's live wire remains connected to the high potential; however, no current flows through it due to the complete or broken return path. No one should attempt to fix the appliance at this time, since touching the live wire could cause a fatal shock as current flows through the body.
