Magnetic field is produced by a current-carrying conductor due to the motion of charged particles or electrons.

  1. As alpha particles are positively charged and they constitute current in the direction of motion, so their movement will also produce a magnetic field.
  2. Neutrons do not carry any charge and constitute no current, so their motion will not produce any magnetic field
