उत्तर

Given, dimensions of a rectangular field 32 m × 26 m and area increased = 650 m2

∴ Increased area of wheat field = Area of EFGH – Area of ABCD wheat field

⇒ 650 = EF × EH – AB × AD  ......[∵ Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth]

⇒ 650 = EF × 26 – 32 × 26

⇒ 650 = 26EF – 832

⇒ 1482 = 26EF

⇒ EF = 57 m

Hence, the length of the expanded wheat field is 57 m.
