लघु उत्तर

उत्तर

  1. The Bharmaur region is located in mountainous terrain between latitudes 32° 11' N and 32° 41' N and longitudes 76° 22' E to 76° 53' E, with heights ranging from 1,500 m to 3,700 m above sea level. It is regarded as the Gaddis' homeland and is surrounded by the Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar mountain ranges. Waterways are key modes of transportation in India since they are both fuel-efficient and environmentally benign.
  2. The region's difficult climatic conditions are mostly owing to its high elevation, which results in lower temperatures and snowfall, particularly during winter, with January temperatures average around 4°C.
  3. Economic backwardness in the Bharmaur region can be linked to its tough topographical features, such as steep terrain, deep gorges cut out by the Ravi and its tributaries, and harsh climate, which impede infrastructure development and limit economic activity.
