After the, games-practice, my friends and I were hungry. We decided to go to a snacks-outlet on the 3^rd floor in a huge six-storeyed malt, on the way. Just as we paid our· bill and were about to leave, there was a ear-shattering blast. A loud explosion on the first floor.

• How did the public panic?
• What did some alert, sensible people do?
• What was the damage and danger?
• Who came to the rescue?
• How many were injured and killed?
• What effect did the instance leave on your mind?

• My first thoughts were shock and fear. My heart started beating fast, and for a moment I felt like I couldn't move. 
• People screamed and ran off in different directions. There were people who ran for the exit and people who hid in fear.
• To calm down the crowd, some people pointed them in the direction of the emergency doors. Some called the emergency number, and others went to help people who had fallen.
• The blast destroyed a huge part of the first floor. The mall was filled with smoke, and fire alarms began to go off. The house could have fallen down, and the fire could have spread.
• A lot of firefighters and cops showed up quickly. Ambulances were sent to help the hurt people. Security staff helped get people out of the building.
• Some people were hurt when things fell on them or when the blast hit them. There were some deaths in the blast, which was sad.
• I felt nervous and traumatized after what happened. It taught me how random life is and how important it is to know how to stay safe in public places.
