  2. Fartlek training, which consists of changing effort levels and conditions, improves players' speed and stamina and helps them improve their mental toughness and focus.
  3. Isotonic exercises involve muscle contractions during movement, such as lifting weights or doing push-ups. Repetitive isotonic activities can also improve muscle strength.
  4. Planks and wall sits are examples of isometric exercises, in which muscles contract without moving. Isometric training reduces the chance of injury by strengthening muscles in a controlled, stable manner.
