Honorable Principal sir, Vice Principal sir, and My dear teachers and friends, very good morning to all. Today, I am going to express my views on the topic - The place of women in Indian society. Without a question, women play a significant role in every household. But often people assume that their function is solely for family, which is completely untrue. Beyond their families, they are now contributing to society. Women used to be treated as second-class citizens in India and had no rights in the patriarchal culture. Conditions today are different. Women are now making progress in all sectors. They are capable of managing both their personal and business lives. They are constantly prepared to give anything up for their family. Women today are well-versed in business, education, confidence, self-respect, and independence. Our world is one of modernization and globalisation. If everyone is equal, why do we still view women as less than men? Women must be treated with the appropriate respect and decency.
