प्रश्न
Sushma sold her watch for ₹ 3320 at a gain of ₹ 320. For earning a gain of 10% she should have sold the watch for ₹ 3300.
पर्याय
True
False
उत्तर
This statement is True.
Explanation:
S.P. of a watch = ₹ 3320
Gain = ₹ 320
∴ C.P. of the watch = ₹ (3320 – 320) = ₹ 3000
Required gain % = 10
S.P. = `((100 + "Gain"%)/100) xx C.P.`
= `((100 + 10)/100) xx 3000`
= `110/100 xx 3000`
= ₹ 3300
So, for earning again of 10% Sushma should have sold the watch for ₹ 3300.
