प्रश्न
Tell what is the profit or loss in the following transaction. Also find profit percent or loss percent in given case.
A refrigerator bought for ₹ 12,000 and sold at ₹ 13,500.
उत्तर
Cost price = ₹ 12000
Selling price = ₹ 13,500
Profit = 13500 − 12000
= ₹ 1500
Profit% = `"Profit"/"C.P." xx 100`
= `1500/12000 xx 100`
= 12.5%
Hence, profit = ₹ 1500 and profit percentage = 12.5%
