प्रश्न
The area of a square is 9x2 + 24xy + 16y2. Find the side of the square.
उत्तर
We have,
Area of a square = 9x2 + 24xy + 16y2
= (3x)2 + 2 × 3x × 4y + (4y)2 ...[∵ a2 + 2ab + b2 = (a + b)2]
= (3x + 4y)2
∴ The side of the square = 3x + 4y ...[∵ Area of square = (side)2]
