The closed loop (PQRS) of wire is moved into a uniform magnetic field at right angles to the plane of the paper as shown in the figure. Predict the direction of the induced current in the loop.

As the loop is moved out of the magnetic field the flux passing through it would decreased. So, a current would be induced in the loop in order to oppose the change in flux such that the magnetic field produced would be in the same direction as the external magnetic field. Now, by using the right hand thumb rule, we include that the current will flow in a clockwise direction i.e. PQRSP.
