प्रश्न
The dimensions of the model of a building are 1.2m x 75cm x 2m. If the scale factor is 1 : 20; find the actual dimensions of the building.
उत्तर
1.2m x 75cm x 2m = 1.2m x 0.75m x 2m
Scale factor = 1 : 20
Length = 2m
Actual length = 20 x length = 20 x 2 = 40m
Breadth = 0.75m
Actual breadth = 20 x breadth = 20 x 0.75 = 15m
Height = 1.2m
Actual height = 20 x height = 20 x 1.2 = 24.0m
Actual dimensions are = 24m x 15m x 40m.
