The following diagram shows four circuits A, B, C and D. Each circuit has a cell and a torch bulb. Name the circuits in which the bulb will glow? Give reason to your answer.

The bulb will glow in Circuit A because it has copper and aluminum, which are good conductors of electricity. It will not glow in Circuit B because silk is an insulator and does not allow current to flow.
