Chandragupta II was determined to overthrow the Saka power in Gujarat and Kathiawar peninsula. With a view to pursuing his plan against the Sakas. He married Kubemaga, a Naga princess. He defeated a united front of his enemies in Vanga (Bengal) and his victorious arms reached northern Afghanistan (Vahilkas).
