उत्तर

Let us assume three consecutive even numbers of series to be x, x + 2 and x + 4

So, The sum of consecutive even numbers = x + x + 2 + x + 4

48 = 3x + 6

– 3x = 6 – 48

– 3x = – 42

x = 14

Therefore, Three consecutive even numbers = x, x + 2 and x + 4.

x + 2 = 14 + 2 = 16

x + 4 = 14 + 4 = 18,

Which is the biggest number in the series.
