प्रश्न
The sum of three consecutive natural numbers is 216. Find the numbers
उत्तर
Let the three consecutive natural numbers be x, x + 1 and x + 2.
Then, sum = x + x + 1 + x + 2 = 216
⇒ 3x + 3 = 216
⇒ 3x = 213
x = 71
⇒ x + 1 = 72, x + 2 = 73
Thus, the 3 natural numbers are : 71, 72 and 73.
