The main objective of this project is connectivity, speed, and safety.

1. Connectivity:- Connects four major metropolitan cities enhance the movement of goods and people to the industrial areas enhances job development. Access to the hinterland of agricultural areas to market areas, ports for export needs.
2. Speed:- Reduces the travel time.
3. Safety:- Six lanes super highways meant for safety.
4. This project was launched in the year 1999. Implemented by the National Highway Authority of India.
5. Encourages the private sector companies to invest, develop and maintain these highways.
