उत्तर

  1. Continental climate :
    • As the name suggests, this climate is experienced in the eastern parts of Finland, Poland, Russia, the Baltic states, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.
    • Great variations in summer and winter temperatures and low amounts of summer rainfall are features of this type of climate. Thus, it is also called the continental climate.
  2. maritime Climate :
    • Maritime climates are found in locations that take on the temperature characteristics of a large body of water.
    • They are characterized by much less extreme annual temperature variations, featuring relatively mild summers and winters.
    • Maritime climates are sometimes called “marine” climates. Both terms are derived from the Latin word mare, which means “sea.”
