प्रश्न
What is the value of molar volume of a gas at S.T.P?
उत्तर
The molar volume of a gas is the volume occupied by one gram-molecular mass or simply, by one mole of the gas at S.T.P.
Molar volume = `("Gram molecular mass of gas")/("Density of gas at STP")`
= 22.4 dm3 at STP
∴ The molar volume of a gas at STP is 22.4 dm3.
