What measures should the League of Nations have taken to avoid the Second World War?

The League of Nations should have taken relevant measures:

• To address the economic crisis that had prevailed in Europe after the First World War and check the rise of autocratic regimes in Germany, Italy, Spain and countries to avoid the Second World War.
• League of Nations lacked an armed force of its own. They became dependent on the great power that enforced its resolution and when they were unwilling to do so, it was dominated by France and Britain.
• If the League of Nations convinced America of the number of military powers and won’t be dominated by few countries then the Second World War could have been avoided.
