Production of one’s own kind is called Reproduction. It is giving birth to an organism similar to one self .
Reproduction is of 2 types.
1. Sexual : involves fusion and formation of gametes.
2. Asexual : doesn’t involve fusion and formation of gametes.
e.g. fission, fragmentation, budding etc.
