Universities are necessary to trim, train, guide, and lead the youth to the development task. It kindles sweet hopes but demands patience, perseverance, faith, and confidence. He should have faith in himself and others. The faith should also be in his inherent ability to shoulder the responsibilities. The universities today have the responsibility to fashion out of the graduate an individual fitted and equipped for the task of making democracy fruitful and effective. So, universities are essential.
