प्रश्न

Why should we worry about the conditions and issues related to forests far from us?

थोडक्यात उत्तर

उत्तर

We need to be concerned about the conditions and issues related to forests because if forests are destroyed, then human life cannot be imagined because –

  • Without forests, wild animals will not have shelter and food, due to which they will be destroyed. As a result, humans will not be able to get useful medicinal plants, wood and many useful substances available from forests.
  • Forests provide us oxygen and protect the soil. Due to lack of oxygen in the atmosphere, the amount of carbon dioxide will increase. Forests maintain the balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
  • There will be no rainfall. As a result, the groundwater level will keep falling, and there will be famine. Plants produce food through photosynthesis, and all living beings depend on this food directly or indirectly.
  • Therefore, humans will not be able to get food. The temperature of the atmosphere will keep increasing because plants prevent it from increasing. Life is impossible after a certain temperature.

Make a record of approximate heights of plants, crown shape, bark texture, leaf size, and flower colour.
